NOTE: 2018 DETAILS BELOW.
2019 courses will be released to the public in April 2019.
Start Time: 8am
Important! The 105km in 2018 is not so 105km. It's actually around 115km. That's right we've thrown in a bonus 9km for free!
In all seriousness, we've had to alter the 2018 route due to a council road closure (with construction of a new subdivision) in the area around the local university. It's not the first time we've had course changes with unforeseen events, and rider safety continues to be our number one priority.
We understand that this increases the challenge for some riders, particularly those who are riding their first century, and hope you will still all finish with a grin when you arrive at the craft beer festival. We'll be notifying all riders of the change and will continue to work closely with the local council, police and our 140 volunteers to ensure the safety of all riders.
Note the course direction is reversed from last year. We encourage riders to download course files to a GPS device, and follow on-course signage and directions from marshals.
This course is suitable for experienced riders. Marshals, water and mechanical assistance will be provided en route.
Toilets will be located at the start, then at Coolamon and Marrar.
The ride begins at the Victory Memorial Gardens at the head of Baylis Street.
A police escort will take riders down Fitzmaurice Street over the Murrumbidgee River and out through North Wagga.
The course has a number of challenges, inlcuding Malebo Hill. You will ride 114kms of sealed road through some of the best farming country in the Riverina, visiting the rural towns of Coolamon and Marrar.
